What’s included with your ThinTank
- 2x 300 inlet strainers
- 1x 90mm Overflow
- 2x 25mm brass water outlet (pre-moulded into the tank at each end, simply drill out the end required)
- 1x 25mm ball valve
- Thread Tape (for sealing fitting threads)
An inlet strainer is located on top at both ends of tank. The other fittings (overflow & ball valve) can be placed either on the left-side or right-side of your tank - refer to the specification diagram above.

ThinTank Delivery – Queensland & Northern NSW
ThinTanks are delivered from the manufacturing factory in Brendale throughout South-East Queensland (all the way up to Hervey Bay, out to Kingaroy, Toowoomba, Warwick & Stanthorpe) and northern NSW (including Amosfield, Yabbra, Dyraaba, Avoln Lea & Ballina). Delivery trucks have only one driver so additional assistance is recommended onsite at the time of delivery. The driver will strive to place your tanks on your prepared pad however obstructions, lack of assistance or site may hinder your delivery. In this case, the driver will leave the tank in a suitable, safe location.ThinTank installation
Tank base: It is important for tanks to stand on a solid base, that will not settle or move when wet. Your tank can be laid on sloping ground, along the length of the tank. However, the surface must be horizontal across the width of the tank to allow the sides of the tank to be vertical.
There are two installation options:
- Freestanding – secured using 2x floor brackets (BS201). If installing multiple tanks, you will also need a Joiner Bracket (BSD201).
- Against the wall – requires 2x wall brackets (WB02).

ThinTanks Warranty
Thin Tanks warrants its tank by a pro-rata warranty for 10 years from the original date of purchase. This warranty covers the original purchase and is not transferable. Thin Tanks will repair or replace, at their discretion the tank affected by a defect caused by the manufacturing process or materials. Fading or colour change, damage caused by accidents or misuse, do-it-yourself repairs or incorrect installation, and any subsequent cost (including freight of replacement tank) are not covered by warranty.We strive to provide you with a smooth and easy buying experience from order to delivery.

I ordered a $20 item plus transport from Tank Shop.
It arrived in Melbourne 2 days later and sat in the transport company’s warehouse for 2 weeks, waiting for delivery 15km away! Malessa at Tank Shop rang and emailed them each day of the second week, along with my emails to them to speed up delivery. Tank Shop offered a replacement item, sent by another transport company the day before the item arrived. Really?
