The First Flush Advanced is more effective at diverting contaminated water. Its patent-pending high-flow inlet largely solves the problem of fast-moving dirty water “skipping” over or around the diverter entrance on traditional T-junction first flush diverters.

This unique design ensure that the first flush ball remains close to the seat, even in high flow events, ensuring the diverter seals as soon as the chamber is full. No more lost balls when cleaning your outlet either!
Maintain With Ease
Maintaining your First Flush Advanced couldn’t be easier. The transparent exit funnel allows for easy visual inspection, while the funnel’s tapered shape draws sediment into the exit flow to reduce build-up and blockages. You can also use the rapid-exit valve to fully empty the diverter as required.

Using a first flush diverter improves water quality and reduce tank maintenance by preventing the first flush of water, which may contain roof contaminants (such as sediment, bird droppings, spiders, insects, mosquito eggs and debris), from entering the tank. I ordered a $20 item plus transport from Tank Shop.
It arrived in Melbourne 2 days later and sat in the transport company’s warehouse for 2 weeks, waiting for delivery 15km away! Malessa at Tank Shop rang and emailed them each day of the second week, along with my emails to them to speed up delivery. Tank Shop offered a replacement item, sent by another transport company the day before the item arrived. Really?
