Clark Tanks operates its own delivery service from three manufacturing facilities (Dalby QLD, Bathurst NSW and Moama NSW) servicing Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and the ACT.
Delivery charges are based on the distance from the applicable Clark Tanks manufacturing facility:
- Up to 400km: Delivery Included
- 401–500km: $100 delivery surcharge per tank
- 501–600km: $200 delivery surcharge per tank
- Over 600km: Outside delivery area

Preparing for Delivery
Clark Tanks’ delivery trucks are large vehicles, so suitable site access and unloading assistance need to be organised before your delivery date.
Delivery Access
Clark Tanks may deliver using either a truck and trailer or truck only. Allow for vehicle clearance of up to approximately 3.5m wide and 5m high. Truck-only deliveries use a vehicle approximately 10m long, while the truck and trailer combination is approximately 19.5m long and requires a 25m turning circle.
Please check gates, roads, crossings, power lines, overhanging trees and other access restrictions, and advise us before delivery if any may present difficulties.
For many tank models, the trailer can be unhitched and delivery completed using the truck only, reducing the vehicle length to approximately 10 metres.
Please check access to the property carefully, including gates, roads, roundabouts, crossings, power lines, low-hanging branches and any other obstacles that may restrict the delivery vehicle.
Prepare Your Tank Pad
Your tank base should be completed and ready before delivery. The tank must be installed on a suitable flat, level and fully supported base in accordance with Clark Tanks’ installation requirements.
Organise Your Plumber
Where plumbing work is required, it is recommended that you arrange trades after delivery rather than on the delivery day itself since unforeseen circumstances or schedules can change.
Help Required to Unload Your Tank
Clark Tanks uses a solo driver and requires the customer to provide sufficient assistance to safely unload and position the tank.

If sufficient assistance cannot be provided, any machinery required to unload the tank, such as a crane or tractor, must be organised at the purchaser’s expense.
What to Expect on Delivery Day
- The delivery driver will normally call on the morning of delivery with an expected arrival time.
- The driver will provide instructions to everyone assisting with unloading.
- Anyone not involved in unloading, including children and pets, must be kept at least 20 metres away from the unloading area.
- An exclusion zone will be established beside the truck while the tank is being unloaded.
- Everyone assisting must follow the driver’s safety instructions throughout the delivery.
Tank Placement
Tank Shop supplies and arranges delivery of Clark Tanks to the nominated delivery address; however, placement or siting of the tank in a particular location cannot be guaranteed.
The Clark Tanks delivery driver has the final say on whether access and the proposed unloading location are safe. If the requested location cannot be safely accessed, the tank will be unloaded at the nearest suitable and safe location.
Once the tank is in its final position, the delivery driver will install the outlet and overflow strainer where required.
Immediately After Delivery
It is important that the tank is secured immediately after delivery. Clark Tanks requires either:
- at least 2.5cm of water to be placed into the tank; or
- the tank to be securely tied down.
This helps prevent an empty tank from being moved or damaged by wind.
Changing Your Delivery Date
If you need to change or postpone your delivery, please contact Tank Shop as soon as possible. Late changes can disrupt other deliveries scheduled on the same truck and may result in cancellation, redelivery or restocking charges depending on the circumstances.
