See your water level from across the paddock. The Longreach Tank Gauge (TATG10) uses a vibrant orange indicator on a sturdy stainless steel pole to show you exactly where your water sits – visible from a distance, even in harsh conditions.
This tank-top gauge is built for Australian properties where tanks sit high, wide, or far from the house. The adjustable mounting base fits any tank shape – domed, flat, sloped – and the modular pole system extends to suit tanks up to 4.2 metres tall.
The Longreach is engineered with heavy-duty stainless steel poles and UV resistant materials that won’t let you down after a few seasons in the sun.

Note: Extra pole sections are available separately for tanks taller than 2.8m.
How the Longreach Tank Gauge Works
The gauge uses a large bottom float inside the tank that rises and falls with water levels. As the float moves, it pushes the bright orange indicator up or down the stainless steel pole outside – giving you a clear visual reading you can see from wherever you’re working.
The adjustable mounting base is what makes this gauge universal. It tilts and rotates to accommodate curved tank tops, steep domes, or uneven surfaces, then locks in place to keep the pole perfectly vertical. This means accurate readings no matter what type of tank you own.

I ordered a $20 item plus transport from Tank Shop.
It arrived in Melbourne 2 days later and sat in the transport company’s warehouse for 2 weeks, waiting for delivery 15km away! Malessa at Tank Shop rang and emailed them each day of the second week, along with my emails to them to speed up delivery. Tank Shop offered a replacement item, sent by another transport company the day before the item arrived. Really?
